Our hair removal equipment includes Alexandrite Lasers, the Candela GentleLASE Plus™, GentleYAG HR™ and Zimmer skin cooling devices

The Champion Laser & Electrolysis Clinic uses the best equipment available. Our laser equipment includes the Candela GentleLASE Plus™, GentleYAG HR™ and Zimmer skin cooling devices. For electrolysis treatments we are equipped with halogen lamps as well as Zeiss high magnification lenses for maximum precision and to help us to work efficiently. We utilize halogen head lamps to see microscopic hairs for laser treatments.

GentleLASE Plus™ with Integrated Dynamic Cooling Device

The GentleLASE Plus™ Alexandrite Laser with Integrated Dynamic Cooling Device delivers outstanding speed, comfort, and results. The long-pulse 755nm alexandrite wavelength results in deeper penetration than ruby lasers are capable of. This laser can also selectively attack deeper hair structures. The integrated Dynamic Cooling Device makes it easier to work safely and with increased patient comfort by delivering short bursts of non-toxic cryogen onto the top layers of the skin milliseconds before the laser pulse.

Alexandrite long-pulse lasers are very effective when the skin type is light and the hair is dark enough to attract the laser within the follicle. Ideal for skin types 1-4.

The large spot size of this equipment combined with the ability to keep the skin cool allows us to cover larger areas more quickly so we can complete treatments with maximum efficiently. Exact delivery of an effective energy beam deep into the tissue can make the difference for permanence and number of treatments required.

GentleYAG HR™

The GentleYAG HR™ long-pulse 1064nm Nd:YAG laser is designed to be effective for ALL skin types, and particularly types 3-6.

Nd:YAG (Neodymium Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) long-pulse lasers work on darker skin types and are the superior option when it comes to treating darker skin types, as well as for people who have tanned skin.

The GentleYAG can be adjusted to treat areas from 12mm to 18mm, which provides flexibility to access small areas such as noses and ears. The 1064nm wavelength allows deep penetration with minimal scattering of laser energy. This equipment also has a 3ms pulse duration, so it is capable of treating both fine and coarse hairs.

Zimmer Cryo 5 Skin Cooling Device

The Zimmer Cryo 5 skin cooling equipment offers a tremendous advantage for patient comfort. We use this in conjunction with our laser equipment to cool skin. It blows cold air on skin being treated for additional patient comfort.

The Cryo 5 is able to minimize pain and thermal injury during laser treatments.

Best of all, it contributes to a quick recovery.

Carl Zeiss OPMI Stereo Microscope

The Carl Zeiss Stereo Microscope provides a great advantage for our electrologists because it magnifies not just for visibility but for clarity and brilliance. This allows us to select the finest of hairs with ease, so we work quickly and effectively. Enlarges up to 9.6x.
