Can Fine Hair Be Permanently Removed?

The persistent belief that fine hair does not respond well to permanent hair removal methods is a myth.

Fine hair is usually found on the face and neck, and it is true that there is often not a lot of pigment in the hair for a laser to act on, but for most hair types it's possible to get the desired results with the right laser. The Candela GLP laser is one of the most efficient lasers on the market for treating fine hair.

Please note that if the hair is very blonde or white, the only permanent solution to effectively kill the hair follicle is electrolysis.

Very often a combination of laser and electrolysis for fine hair will deliver the best and fastest results. We will always try to make as much progress as is possible with laser treatments, and only use electrolysis for hair that does not respond to laser.

As you may suspect, working on sensitive facial areas, particularly the upper lip, requires delicate care and expertise. We are particularly conscientious in ensuring that skin is not damaged while achieving the desired results.
