Know Your Skin Type

Hair removal technique differs from black skin type to white skin type

The best recognized system for classification of skin type is the Fitzpatrick system which classifies skin in 6 different categories — types 1 - VI.

	SKIN TYPE I Irish, Scandinavian, Northern European Always burns, never tans
	SKIN TYPE II English, Eastern European Always burns, difficulty tanning
	SKIN TYPE III Southern European, Mediterranean Sometimes burns, always tans
	SKIN TYPE IV Hispanic, Asian, Indian Rarely ever burns, always tans easily
	SKIN TYPE V Jamaican, African Moderately pigmented, very rarely burns
	SKIN TYPE VI Nigerian, Sub-Saharan Africa Black skin, never burns
