Barb Hyciek, EMT-P, LT

Barb Hyciek graduated from the University of Guelph in 2000 earning an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics. She went on the complete her Paramedic training with SAIT in 2004 and has been a registered Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics since then.

Barb completed her training as a Laser Technician in the fall of 2007 under the tutelage of Janet Champion.

Barb also works full-time as a Paramedic with Calgary EMS, so she caters to weekend and evening laser clients.

In her spare time, Barb enjoys spending time with her family — husband Dave, new baby girl Riley and puppy Miika.

Not all laser equipment can achieve the wave lengths needed to deal with every skin type. and, unlike the experts at Champion Laser & Electrolysis, not all laser technicians have the knowledge and experience to work with lasers safely and effectively for difficult skin types. FIND OUT MORE
